I booked my photoshoot, what happens next?
You will find Moonbeams Studio Photoshoot Guide at the bottom of this page - Here you will find information on choosing your makeup style, what colors are best to wear and what to do in the days prior to your photoshoot so you will show up at the location ready to go! After you have chosen your session package, filled out and sent back the questionnaire and paid your invoice, your photoshoot will booked on the Studio calendar. We will then schedule a phone/zoom/in person chat for a quick (20-30min) consultation. During this time we will go over the questionnaire and discuss what you would like for your photoshoot colors, wardrobe, makeup, props and location/background choice(s) as well as what to expect during the photoshoot.
What can I expect at the photoshoot?
On the day of your photoshoot, my assistant and I will pamper you while you enjoy some complimentary snacks and beverages during prep time. When you are ready to go, we will head over to the photoshoot location where I will help you find the most flattering poses and ways to feel like your most beautiful self!
What do I do after my photoshoot?
Immediately following your photoshoot, you will get to see a sneak peek of your photos! This will be the time to look through them and choose your favorites - if your session does not include the fully edited and professionally retouched digital album, you can decide at this time if you would like to purchase more photos than you thought you would! I will then give you a gift card to a local restaurant, diner, coffee shop, etc. for you to unwind, re-energize and round off your experience with Moonbeams Studio. You will receive a link with your digital album for viewing and downloading sent to the email address on file within 30 days of your session.
Moonbeams Studio Photoshoot Guide: what to do and what to avoid
DO NOT get any new tattoos, piercings, drastic hair changes or spray/fake tan in the days/weeks leading up to your photoshoot.
DO NOT drink soda or alcohol on the day of your photoshoot.
DO NOT wear a bra to your photoshoot as they create lines.
DO NOT wear makeup (except foundation and/or mascara) or any products in your hair to your session.
DO choose a makeup look from the Moonbeams Makeup Options List to better fill out your Questionnaire.
DO check on the traffic and parking situation at our photoshoot location.
DO make sure your payments are up to date in the days/weeks leading up to your photoshoot.
DO remember that you will see your hands/feet in your photos so please make sure they are well manicured.
DO get a good night's sleep and wash your hair the day before your photoshoot - DO NOT come to your photoshoot with wet hair!
DO drink plenty of water, eat a healthy breakfast, wash/moisturize your face and wear nude underwear on the day of your photoshoot!
